- For tightness and restrictions that keep coming back despite stretching and foam rolling
- Works during the movement that causes the problem — not before it
- Used by collegiate and professional athletes and clinicians
- 7 years of clinical development, 5,600+ users
You stretch it, foam roll it — it loosens up. You load the movement and it's right back.
Standard recovery tools ask you to stop moving while they work. FlossPoint works while you squat, walk, push off — through the exact movement causing the problem.
Apply it. Move through the restriction. That's the treatment.
WHY THE RESTRICTION KEEPS COMING BACK
Foam rollers, massage guns, and standard compression bands work on tissue while you're still. That changes how tissue feels. It doesn't address tissue where it's actually failing — under load, during movement.
Under load, tissue layers have to slide past each other: muscle over fascia, fascia over skin. When those interfaces lose their ability to glide under demand, movement breaks down. The tissue isn't too short. It can't tolerate the sliding being asked of it.
Think of two pieces of fabric stuck together. Pressing straight down doesn't free them. Pulling them sideways while applying a little pressure does. That's the problem with standard tools — and the reason FlossPoint works differently.
HOW FLOSSPOINT WORKS
FlossPoint wraps around the restriction with three removable ShearPoints — dome-shaped grips that attach directly to the band. You then perform the movement that's limiting you: squat, push off, walk through the range.
As you move under compression, the ShearPoints generate directional shear between tissue layers while those layers are being asked to slide. The restriction gets loaded during the movement that causes it — not pressed on while you're still.
Standard tools: Compression at rest → tissue flattens → restriction unchanged under load
FlossPoint: Focal compression via ShearPoints → directional shear during movement → tissue interfaces challenged to glide under load
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 1 FlossPoint band — Natural latex, 3x more durable than CTM Band
- 3 removable ShearPoints — Denser, longer-lasting focal compression points
- Application Guide — Digital download with protocols for common restrictions
- 30-day guarantee — Use it under load. If movement doesn't improve, return it.
HOW TO USE FLOSSPOINT
Start here: Do the movement first. Find where it breaks down under load. Wrap there. The restriction tells you exactly where to put it.
- Position 1–3 ShearPoints based on muscle size and restriction area
- Wrap with moderate tension — full range of motion, noticeable resistance
- Move through loaded patterns for 2–3 minutes
- Remove and reassess movement under actual training load
Short-duration use only. 2–3 minutes maximum. Avoid numbness or circulation restriction.
ShearPoint placement by area:
Focused areas (foot, ankle): 1–2 ShearPoints
Mid-size regions (calf, hamstring): 2–3 ShearPoints
Large areas (quad, glute complex): All 3 ShearPoints
COMMON APPLICATIONS
Restrictions that limit movement under load — whether felt at rest or only during training:
- Ankle dorsiflexion — squat depth, split squats
- Calf/Achilles complex — eccentric loading, jumps, push-off
- Knee/quad — terminal extension, step-ups
- Hamstring — RDLs, hinge patterns
- Hip/IT band interface — lateral movements
- Plantar region — single-leg stability
- Shoulder — external rotation, overhead patterns
- Elbow/forearm — wrist extension, gripping patterns
- Shin splints — anterior and posterior compartment
Position ShearPoints where movement breaks down under load — not just where discomfort is felt at rest.
FOR CLINICAL PRACTITIONERS
Physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and manual therapists use FlossPoint as a dynamic pin-and-stretch tool. Same mechanical principle as manual therapy — directional shear at tissue interfaces during active loading — scaled for efficiency across multiple sessions.
Practitioners position ShearPoints on patients, apply the band, and direct loaded movement for 2–3 minutes. Same assessment-driven protocol, therapist-guided application.
WHAT FLOSSPOINT IS
FlossPoint is: a tool that works during movement, not before it. For restrictions that limit performance under load. Self-directed or practitioner-guided. Short-duration use (2–3 minutes).
FlossPoint is not: a compression sleeve for extended wear, a percussion or vibration device, a replacement for progressive loading, or a passive recovery tool.

"Fills an interesting space somewhere between compression therapy, mobility work, and traditional self-massage. For runners looking to supplement — or occasionally replace — their foam roller routine, it's a genuinely practical addition to the recovery toolkit."

"Voodoo Floss on steroids! This product works so much better than Voodoo floss. The rubber pads really help with hitting the hot spots and helps with the aches and pains. I highly recommend this product."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this the same as a regular floss band?
No. Standard floss bands create uniform circumferential compression. FlossPoint adds removable ShearPoints that create focal compression at specific tissue interfaces. When you move under that focal compression, the ShearPoints generate directional shear between tissue layers — parallel to the tissue surface, where sliding mechanics are concentrated. That's a different mechanical input and produces a different tissue response.
Will this hurt?
The compression should feel noticeable but not painful. Moderate tension is the goal — enough resistance to challenge the tissue, not enough to restrict circulation. If you feel tingling or numbness, reduce tension immediately. Most people find the sensation intense for the first few seconds and then settles.
Can I use it on my shoulder, elbow, or upper body?
Yes — the same mechanism applies anywhere tissue interfaces need to slide during movement. Common upper body applications include the posterior shoulder and rotator cuff complex, forearm extensors for lateral elbow restriction, and wrist flexors. The Application Guide covers lower extremity in detail, but the placement logic transfers directly to any region.
Does this work for plantar fasciitis?
Yes, particularly for load-dependent presentations where restriction shows up during push-off or single-leg loading. Position 1–2 ShearPoints across the midfoot and move through toe yoga, short foot activation, and single-leg balance for 2–3 minutes. Most plantar restriction also responds well to addressing the calf and Achilles first — reducing load transfer to the plantar fascia during push-off often makes the biggest difference.
How is this different from foam rolling or a massage gun?
Foam rollers and massage guns apply vertical compression — force perpendicular to the tissue surface — while you're still. They change sensation and temporarily reduce stiffness. FlossPoint applies focal compression via ShearPoints during movement, generating directional shear forces parallel to the tissue surface. That's the force that challenges tissue interfaces to restore their sliding capacity. Different mechanical input, different tissue response.
Who is FlossPoint for?
Anyone with a tightness or restriction that keeps coming back despite stretching, foam rolling, or rest. Runners with chronic calf tightness, lifters with ankle or knee restriction under load, athletes rehabbing from injury, and clinicians looking for a tool that works during movement rather than before it.
What does the 30-day guarantee cover?
Use FlossPoint during actual training load for 30 days. If movement doesn't improve under the demand that was limiting you, return it for a full refund. No complicated process.
